    Once I received the item it only took about 25 to 30 minutes to install. It fit perfectly, and it looks great. I've seen some bug deflectors that were a little loose when you complete the installation but this one is very tight.

    I had to buy new screws to attach this to my hood. The screws on the ends were okay but looks a little tacky.

    It was easy to install, but for me the clips (they attach the wing tips to the hood without damaging the paint) were the hardest to install because it took a while to get them centered on the pre-drilled hole located on the hood protector. I like how it looks except the screws that attach to the clips are not hidden, this takes away from the clean look of the chrome.

    The EGR Hood protector looks fantastic on my silverado. Installation was difficult. Two of the plastic clips used to screw the hood protector on broke. I ended up tapping the holes in the hood and using larger diameter screws. The whole job took a little over an hour. EGR should provide better mounting hardware that will not crack.
