    Stand base had to be modified so it could be installed in a 2020 Ford Explorer. Cable tie downs for laptop had to be removed. 3M HD velcro works wonders. Lastly, the cams for tightening the multi position arms had to be replaced after several of the splined handle sockets stripped when being tightened. My PIU was the guinea pig. Needless to say there will be no more laptop stands from Jotto.

    The top was too small and the cables were very likely to damage my computer. So, I took the top off my Ram computer holder and attached it to your base. I discarded your top. Get rid of the cables, make the top exactly that same as the Ram top. You may not like this review but it could make you better. Your base is good.

    The product does not go high enough to clear my center console (at the highest setting) even though I put in what vehicle it was for. To get an extension rod is almost 1/3 of the price of the product so I can't really give this product a good rating.

    Didn't like the cable tie down. I took off. Used a silent Velcro (not just regular Velcro) put it on top of the rubber pads. That's what holds computer to top. Works great and looks better.

    I do a LOT of traveling for my job. I was tired of trying to sit in my truck and do paperwork and work on the computer. If I had a drink in the center console, I had to move it to place my laptop on the armrest. If I wasn't doing paperwork on top of everything, it just became a mess. I worked law enforcement for many years prior to moving back into the construction industry. I had a docking station in my car and it is a huge tool for organization and ease of use for your laptop. I finally convinced my office I needed one for my work truck and they gave me the green light. I reviewed a lot of brands and styles online and this one seemed the most functional and affordable without breaking the bank. Install took about 30 minutes. Everything bolted in to the existing seat posts on the front of the passenger seat. I love this thing. It's user friendly, fully adjustable and keeps your laptop or iPad secure. When I called to inquire about my order, everyone was super friendly and helpful. Even after that call, I started receiving messages every few days with an update on my order shipping and why it was running behind. (Manufacturer was back logged.) Overall, if you are a manager or traveling business person who needs easy access to your laptop, you should get this! You'll be spoiled and happy to have this tool. Great product, clean install, and it looks professional and durable.
